The first is that both models, Vudu-X and Vudu, use the same piston and piston receiver design, so both models test identically. The difference is only which design is easier for you to mount. The second point is that when measuring sound, 5 decibels equals a reduction of 68% of the amount of sound energy being transmitted, and a difference of 6 decibels equals a decrease of 75% of the sound energy.
