Front-Riser Mount

riser rear mount
The Front-Riser Rear Mount is a bracket for attaching a Vudu dampener to a bow with no rear-facing port. It mounts off the bow’s front stabilizer port. The mount consists of a stand-off extension that screws on the riser’s front. On the front of this extension is a port for your existing stabilizer. The stand-off extension also locks the offset bracket, which has an adjustable 3/8-inch rod.
The Vudu dampener is attached to this rear-facing 3/8-inch rod. This front-riser archery mount is perfect for mounting the VUDU™ bow string dampener and silencer on bows lacking a second rear port when mounting off the cable rod is not an option. Please note that an extra Z-Link adapter is often needed to offset the Front Riser Rear Mount rod’s off-center location
application
advantages of rod uses
The mount is used with the standard Vudu when the bow’s riser has a front 5/16-24 port. This gives the archer the advantage of mounting the Vudu below the bow’s handle. This low mounting position offers several benefits, including better clearance from other bow components, such as sights and cable slides. Most importantly, the low mounting places the Vudu closer to the bow’s center of mass, which improves bow balance, making it easier to hold the bow steady at full draw.
This low mount also keeps the bow profile more compact—a real plus in tree stands or ground blinds. Finally, the low mount places the Vudu in an optimal path of energy transfer. This allows the Vudu to catch the string harmonics earlier, eliminating both the twang and hand shock.
