The Aro-Gate design has several unique advantages over traditional rests, like the whisker type of rest, including faster arrow release, greater accuracy, and minimal contact with the arrow. It allows for excellent fletching clearance and a more secure arrow cradle, improving arrow flight.

• Fewer moving parts:

  Our gate has no strings attached and only three moving parts. Each contact prong has a central cavity, making it light and stable. It is almost like having six gates that flow into three contact points. This buttress design provides great lateral strength. The gate’s unique outward curve keeps the arrow centered while the archer draws and holds the bow. Each gate works independently, smoothly, and effortlessly when launched, allowing the arrow a free path during the shot.  

• Faster Arrow Release:

  Because of the above gate design, this foldaway releases the arrow faster than conventional rests, minimizing contact while maximizing speed.

• Improved Accuracy:

  By utilizing three independent contact points, the gate system moves only when there is arrow contact. This maximizes the rest’s centering effect for improved guidance during the initial launch stage, increasing accuracy. 

• Minimal Contact:

  Our foldaway is designed to minimize arrow contact for improved arrow flight, yet hold the arrow securely during the draw and hold stage. The Aro-Gate will not only hold the arrow securely at full draw, which is nice on those windy days, but it will also hold the arrow gently in place during a letdown when the shot is not taken.

• Easier Fletching Clearance:

  This foldaway is easy to set up for optimal fletching clearance and nicely tunes with a paper tuner like our Best-Shot paper tuner. 

• Secure Arrow Cradle:

  It is easy to see why the Aro-Gate rest offers a very secure cradle for the arrow once drawn. This helps for the ultimate consistent release.
