Wrist-Rocket replacement bands began in the mid-1950s when we introduced the first Wrist-Rocket slingshot. As a young boy, I remember when the first clicker press arrived. It was a monster weighing thousands of pounds with a huge electric motor that drove a massive flywheel. For months, the press was set up outside between buildings. The press was used to stamp out leather pouches, but things were changing fast.

A new building was constructed for the expanding Wrist-Rocket production and the press. The company was a beehive of activity, and besides the new Wrist-Rocket area, it wasn’t long before we were adding another building. This time, it was for the new line of injection molding machines to produce the soon-to-be new line of plastic components, one of which was a plastic pouch for the growing line of tubular Wrist-Rockets.
