The first SACO was made in 1977.It had hundreds of parts, including cams and levers; all were meticulously designed so that, when one target was hit, it would disappear behind a shield, thereby exposing another target on the other side. The newest Saco is made for national school archery programs’ light draw bows and arrows. “This means that, consequently, anyone shooting low draw weight bows—specifically, those with a pull of up to 17 pounds—can use bullet points. On the other hand, bows with a pull of over 17 pounds must use bludgeon-tipped arrows.” Made in the USA.
