Rests

Before the bow window was invented the index finger or thumb was the arrow rest. It was not long after bows with a shelf became popular that Saunders made its first arrow rests in the early 1950s.  A little over 20 years later Saunders introduced its first plastic rest in the late 1970s.

Today our Exprest combines the advantages of the early plastic rests with the need to hold the arrow securely.  For advanced shooters the Aro-Gate uses a new angled 3-point design and low drag materials to match the performance of many of today’s best drop-away rests.
